Citizen Insane, a Barbara Marr Murder Mystery by Karen Cantwell

If you think PTA meetings are boring, then you haven’t attended one in Barbara Marr’s neighborhood, where MURDER is on the agenda. Always one to stumble into trouble, Barb learns the hard way that a seemingly innocent yearbook scandal is actually part of a seriously sinister and deadly plot. Join soccer mom and movie lover Barbara Marr in this second laugh-out-loud, chaotic mystery, where high-profile crime and suburban living collide in an unexpected fashion.

"Whenever a Karen Cantwell "Barbara Marr" book comes out, I do a happy dance. The characters are great, the humor makes me laugh out loud, and it's so nice to read about a woman who is actually in love with her own husband! If you want a smile on your face for the next 24 hours (because you won't be able to put the book down until you finish) then read "Citizen Insane," the next chapter in Barbara Marr's hysterical life." -- Amazon Reviewer

Author Bio: Like her character, Barbara Marr, Karen Cantwell is a mom living in the suburbs. Unlike Barb, however, she has never found monkeys in her trees or a severed human head in her neighbor's basement, and for this, she is extremely grateful. When she's not conjuring stories and novels, Karen enjoys spending time with her kids, gardening, and masterminding unique ways to thwart the wily squirrel in her yard from plundering the bird feeder. To the squirrel lovers out there: no squirrels are harmed in these endeavors.

Books in the Barbara Marr Murder Mystery series include, Take the Monkeys and Run, Citizen Insane, and Silenced by the Yams. The fourth book, Saturday Night Cleaver, will be released this December. For a quick Barbara Marr fix, readers can laugh with Barb while reading The Chronicles of Marr-nia, Short Stories Starring Barbara Marr, and "It's a Dunder-Bull Wife, A Barbara Marr Holiday Tale."
